Once again PSG want to draw the attention of the European market, and almost a month after the rumours of the possible arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo to the French team, they have once again set their sights on the veteran.
Paris Saint-Germain, obsessed with winning the Champions League, have been hoping for months to bring together two of the best players in the world and in the history of football: Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo has already spoken on several occasions of his desire to leave the English club with the intention of joining a team with a place in next season’s Champions League, such as PSG.
A new window
Portuguese journalist Pedro Almeida said that PSG‘s new sporting adviser, Luis Campos, has apparently already been in contact with Ronaldo‘s agent, Jorge Mendes, to discuss the possibility of bringing in Portugal’s legendary international.
“Cristiano has not been included in Manchester United‘s final list to travel to Thailand (for pre-season), and the possibility of the Portuguese leaving the team is very high,” Almeida declared.
CR7’s absence in Asia and Oceania
In addition to not travelling with the team to Asia, Ronaldo did not show up for Manchester United‘s first day of training on Monday, and rumours of a possible exit from the team immediately began to surface, especially given the player’s desire to participate in Europe’s most important tournament.
So far, rumours of Ronaldo‘s exit have included talk that he could move to teams such as Barcelona, Bayern Munich and most recently Chelsea in the Premier League.
For the time being, Ronaldo has posted several photos on his social media sites of himself and his family on holiday.
